Description

Morning

The Sun will rise in the morning which will generate the first solar power of the day. The occupant can make a coffee knowing that the power has been generated self sufficiently.

Mid Morning

When all occupants have left the home in the morning, the power not consumed by household appliances is fed to the battery and stored there for the evening. If the building is being used as an office, this power generated can be used on day to day activities.

Midday

At midday there will be the optimal amount of solar power produced. The excess power which can neither be stored or used can be fed (sold) back to the grid.

Afternoon

A lot of power will continue to be produced throughout the afternoon which is ideal as most households will use more power going into the evening, therefore grid usage will be none to minimal.  Other buildings like offices will require this power until closing time remaining self sufficient.

Evening

Only during the night time when no solar power can be produced and the battery power stored is empty does electricity need to be fed from the grid.
